Free Pixel Advertisements!

If you have a website to advertise, you know getting other websites to link to your homepage is a constant battle. The more incoming links you have the better you place in search engines and the more traffic you get.

We’ve found a site that is allowing visitors to place on it free links back to their website. These links are in the form of free pixel advertisements. You basically pick how big an ad you want to use and then you upload your own graphic image, or use one of their stock images, and provide the link information. After it processes your free transaction there will be a graphic image linked to your website so anyone who wishes to can click on your link and visit your site.

Easy Place To Find Still Available One-Word Domains

Very short and one word domain names are some of the hardest to find and can be of significant value. Many times people just type www.[one word].com into their browser, if you happened to own the domain of the word they were looking for… boom, that’s instant traffic.

There’s a fairly recent blog at Who-Iz.com that features lists of available one-word domain names. It appears to update every few days or maybe weekly, but could be a nice source for available domain names.

iPhone – Wait For Now

Recommendables.com has a general feeling on electronics that buying out of the first batch is not necessarily the smartest thing to do. Usually when anything new comes out, there are always bugs to fix and upgrades to do. If you can keep your sanity while waiting, you may end up saving yourself some headaches in the future.

The iPhone has one thing going for it that other new “gadgets” don’t, it’s made by Mac. Mac, historically, doesn’t have a lot of problems with new items right out of the box. While this makes it safer, there is still drawback number two. Missing out on the brainstorm of new options. Many times after a product is released professional reviewers or the buying public will express ideas that they wished the product would’ve incorporated. Lo and behold, when the second generation is produced they have incorporated a lot of the suggestions. While Mac has reliability on it’s side (big time), Mac cannot escape this reality.

So, if you have the patience and can wait it out you may have a better performing iPhone with more options than your friend who had to have one ‘right now”.
