The UFC is huge, and deservedly so. Seeing some of the best trained mixed martial arts fighters in actions is a real treat. If you love the UFC too, odds are you’ll love the WEC as well. The WEC is actually owned by the UFC and runs roughly the same, but has a couple of different weight classes. One of these different weight classes is what makes it really exciting. The featherweight division, not a division included in the UFC, is a blast to watch. Especially the champion of the featherweight division, Urijah Faber who at only 5′ 6″ tall dominates the division. Faber’s record of 20-1-0 is indicative of his dominance and he is just amazing to watch. He has a huge fight coming up on June 1st against a true legend in fighting, Jens Pulver. I’m not saying that the WEC is better than the UFC, that would be insane to say, I’m just saying that if you are a fan of the UFC then give the WEC a chance.
