After experiencing many brands of cars over the years and now finding us buying a KIA to use as a second car, I can honestly give my all out approval of their product. The key reason to buy a KIA for us was the ten year or 100,000 mile warranty. This is essentially peace of mind that you are buying. The safety ratings of the recent models of KIA cars and SUVs is very high also compared to where they were when they first came on the market.
Now, you have to know what you are buying when you approach the more affordable vehicles like KIA. This is not a Lexus… this is not a Mercedes… this is not a BMW… this is a KIA. It is very nice and durable for family use, but does not come with a lot of the extras. This also means that there is less that can go wrong with it as well. After a year of use we are very pleased with our KIA Sportage.
