The Need For An Alternative Fuel Is Obvious

When politics is injected into any discussion it complicates things. The need for a viable fuel alternative to petroleum is obvious. In fact, it really isn’t even debatable how bad the western world if not all of Earth itself needs an alternative fuel that can be easily put into production and distribution. But because of right vs. left politics, the issue has been made murky.

There are people on the left that pursue alternative fuel honestly, but there are also those that pursue it as a way to “stick it” to big business. They would like nothing more than to see oil companies experience extreme business failure. Likewise, there are people on the rightwho pursue alternative fuel honestly, but there are also those that rail against it as a way of striking out at the environmental movement. Their hatred of the ecological movement serves as a motiviating factor to work against alternative fuel enthusiasts.

The truth of the matter is that the pursuit of alternative fuels like biodiesel, ethanol, or most others is beneficial to both sides of the political spectrum. Alternative fuel should naturally appeal to stereotypical left believers and their want to save the world and do things that benefit mankind and the environment. It should also benefit stereotypical right believers in that freeing our dependence on foreign oil is a patriotic benefit of the pursuit of alternative fuel.

The need for an alternative fuel is obvious… to both the left and the right.
