Page Rank is Google’s way of valuing a web page to the internet. The higher a web pages Page Rank rating, the more value Google says that site has to the internet.

Many tools will give varying results so it is best to check using one or two different tools. There are also methods used to fake page rank, but these are usually easily discernible with some of the better tools out there.
