Camping is a great vacation idea for anyone, but especially a family. There are few vacations that have the ability to bring families closer together than a camping vacation. But, where to go? Do you go to a State Park that is going to be more developed and have more amenities, or do you go to a more primitive campsite like those found in National Parks and even undeveloped wilderness areas.

The Pluses Of Developed Campsites
-Permanent fire pits
-Toys for kids to climb on
-Restrooms
-Reservable spaces
-Regular access to park rangers

The Pluses Of Primitive Campsites
-More secluded
-More accessibility to nature
-A great chance for interaction with wildlife
-Less fellow campers

While camping is a great vacation, some families may find that their family is more suited for a campsite closer to civilization, while others may determine that their family would thrive in the true wilderness.
