Test Out The Local Diner And Hamburger Joints

I’m not a big fan of the chain restaurants. Now, there is nothing too awful bad about Shari’s, Denny’s, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, or Subway – just that I can eat at those places anytime I want. They’re literally in every city, usually in more than one place too. It can be a bit of a gamble, but when traveling to another city, take the time to eat at a locally owned restaurant, diner or burger joint.

These smaller locally owned eateries are oftentimes (not always) better tasting and friendlier than the corporate cookie-cutter establishments. Many times it is the owner or owners themselves doing the cooking or waiting on you and they know that the food quality and service you get are directly responsible to whether their business survives or not. Treat yourself to a meal from a place that might surprise you.
